Rainbow chevron bunting

Don't you just love it when a plan comes together?

In this case, two plans came together!

I had in mind to create some new bunting, but to do it a bit different from the traditional style.

I also wanted to enter the Festival of Half Square Triangles linky party.

So I got out the rainbow charm squares from a share I took part in and set to work.

First I had these ....



Then these ...



And finally, a string of rectangular bunting ...





I am so absolutely in love with it. It's bright and quirky and great fun.

It's also not exactly straight or even because I was too anxious to get going and couldn't wait to pick up my quarter-inch foot from the office.



I edged each piece with some white bobbly trim - fun!



I have another project to enter into the Festival of Half Square Triangles - come back to see that later in the week.

Bunting

Yes, I'm still in love with bunting. Must get round to making myself some proper bunting (Did I tell you I have a new sewing machine? A story foe another day!).

This card is another made at Julie's training, where we went to town with the Pennant Parade stamp set and matching Petite Pennants Punch.

Tea and bunting

Tea and bunting - two things that go together perfectly, so today I have two projects to share.

First up, my very own, hand-painted teacup!



I painted it at a Buns & Roses workshop earlier this month, and we just got them back from being fired and glazed.



I've not used it yet - too scared of dropping it!

And to go with it, a bunting card from our team training.



Lovely bunting with the Petite Pennants Punch and the Just Add Cake DSP. The background is given added texture with the Square Lattice embossing folder.

Best get kettle on!
