The Big Shot from Stampin' Up!

Friday 1 April 2011

Yes, it is true - Stampin' Up! is now offering the Big Shot in the UK.

We have been crossing our fingers for this day for many months, and I am so glad to finally get my hands on this die cutting machine.

As well as the Big Shot machine itself, there are loads of dies, Embosslits and embossing folders to choose from. And a lot of them are EXCLUSIVE to Stampin' Up! so you won't get them anywhere else.

Anyone who buys a Big Shot from me will get a FREE project tuition session and a FREE embossing folder. I will provide the materials for several projects and will go through some of the awesome things you can create with your new toy. These sessions (including a FREE embossing folder) are also available without a Big Shot purchase for £25.

I have been having a good old play with my Big Shot and can honestly say IT IS AMAZING.

There are dies for gift boxes (LOVE the milk carton), some super cute embossing options and lots of amazing dies for adding that something extra to your projects.

It also makes crafting super quick and easy. Marvellous for when there just aren't enough hours in the day!

And of course, it's not just for card - you can run loads of different materials through the Big Shot. Fabric, chipboard, acetate, thin metal, corkboard ...

Here's a really cute but fast card I made using the Big Shot and the Elegant Bouquet Textured Impressions Embossing Folder and the Beautiful Wings Embosslits Die. Both of these are exclusive to Stampin' Up!

It really did take just a few minutes. I ran the dark pinkd card through the Big Shot in the embossing folder, then ran a piece of lighter pink through in the Embosslit to create the butterflies, and stuck it all together!

The embossing options are amazing for adding extra texture to projects. And as you can see, they can really make a statement on their own.
